By accessing or using the EuroValidate API ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
EuroValidate provides a REST API for validating and enriching European business data, including VAT numbers, IBANs, EORI numbers, and company information. We aggregate data from publicly available government APIs and databases.
Each pricing tier has a monthly included request quota. Current tier quotas and overage rates:
On paid tiers (Starter, Growth, Scale), requests above the included quota are billed at the per-request overage rate through Stripe metered billing. The API does not return HTTP 429 for going over the included quota — overage is automatic and transparent. You will receive an email the first time in a billing period that your usage crosses the included quota.
A technical per-minute burst limit applies to all tiers to protect the service from runaway clients and bill shock. Exceeding the per-minute burst limit returns HTTP 429 with a short Retry-After window.
You agree not to:
EuroValidate aggregates data from third-party government sources. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee the completeness or correctness of validation results. Each response includes a confidence field indicating data freshness. You are responsible for determining the suitability of the data for your use case.
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Upstream government APIs (VIES, EORI, HMRC) may be unavailable outside our control. The Service employs caching and circuit breakers to mitigate upstream failures. Formal SLA commitments are available for Growth and Scale tiers.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
